Mobile Education
Digitizing education in a mobile trend.
Mobile has exploded. From commerce, payments, health, and more, industries are jumping on the mobile movement to offer users the ability to access their information anytime, anywhere. With these actions has come education. With the purpose of giving all students the access and ability to learn, mobile may bring the long awaited solution to the problem. While mobile learning is offering developing countries the connectivity they have lacked, it is also being leveraged in western countries to deepen learning as a new way to engage and enhance the educational process.
This comes at an opportune time with the introduction of Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and the College, Career, and Civic Life (C3) Framework. CCSS provides a consistent and clear understanding of what students are expected to learn. These standards in English language arts and mathematics mark the foundation to then allow parents and teachers to help prepare America’s students for college and career. The C3 Framework, like the Common Core State Standards, also emphasizes applied knowledge to prepare students in the area of social studies.
With these educational standards in place, Apollo Matrix has partnered with educational resources like The American Heritage Society to create a solution that offers the flexibility that teachers want along with the related references and support for the CCSS and C3 Framework. Products like The American Heritage Society’s Fourscore will inspire students with the digital ease of learning.
